On February 10th or February 11th, vandals paid the UA Community Garden a visit, causing extensive damage to everything from our irrigation system to the solar pump for our water harvesting cistern to our solar-powered lamp-posts. Being a student program with a limited budget, we are unable to take on the financial burdens of repairing all that was damaged. Please help us bring the UA Community Garden back to the wonderful community resource that it is and show everyone that we won't accept hatred or destruction and will come back stronger than ever!
If you are able to donate funds to our cause, please click here to be directed to the UA Foundation's page, then follow these steps: 1. Fill in the "Amount" and please feel free to donate any amount using the "Other" field. 2. Select "One Time Gift." 3. IMPORTANT: In the "Comments" field, enter "ASUA UA Community Garden Repair Fund." 4. Enter the remaining information as required. You will receive an official UA Foundation letter for tax purposes following your donation.
Thank you all for the incredible support and generosity that has been shown to us in this time of need!
